End Your Soft Drink Habit With These Substitutes
I think I've been addicted to sodas ever since I was a kid. It was my favorite thing to drink at the age of five, and it's still my favorite drink over 30 years later. There's some kind of fix that a soda satisfies that other drinks simply can't.
As much as I happen to love about soda, I've had to struggle with my obsession recently. It's time for me to focus on my health, and I figure that cutting soda out of my diet will be a major step in the right direction.
Drinking soda is bad for your teeth, negatively impacts your energy levels, and even leads to weight gain. As a result, I've decided to replace my sodas with one of a few other drinks.
Try out any of the following drinks that I'm about to discuss for a change. While you may not enjoy them as much as you like your soda, I think you'll come to appreciate the benefits that you enjoy over time.
Have you ever had seltzer? If you have, try drinking it more regularly for a few weeks and the taste of it, or lack thereof, will grow on you. This is a perfectly healthy substitute for soda, and the carbonation definitely helps out.
Some people simply need a little more flavor in a drink. If that's the case, try out any of the carbonated juices offered by Izze or Fizzy Lizzy. These are both great treats that have become wildly popular during the last few years.
Yet another possibility is green tea. This will give you a more holistic experience, but there are some great health benefits that come with the drink. If you don't like the thought of drinking something hot, make some iced green tea.
All it takes is one substitute, and you'll be well on your way. Try out each of these in the hopes that you enjoy one of them as much as I do. - 17269
