Enzyme Nutrition - The Key to Longetivity

By Roman Reyome

Enzymes, by definition are long chain proteins. These enzymes are very specifically formed and held together by hydrogen bonds. Like a ball of string with very small strips of Velcro. If the Velcro bond is broken - the enzymes loose their shape. With no shape the key will not fit the lock. At this point the enzyme is no longer an enzyme, but just another foreign protein.

What do foreign proteins cause in our body? Right - inflammation. Immune response. And that's exactly the meaning of auto-immune. The body now attacks itself because it senses there's an alien on board. Self confronted with not-self.

When the enzyme bonds are broken the enzyme collapses and is no long effective. When the enzyme collapses it referred to as denatured. This is caused by drugs, alcohol, fluoride, food processing, irradiation, canning and heating at or above 118F (cooking.) Since these enzymes become ineffective a protein enzyme supplement would be beneficial.

An abundance of denatured enzymes is present in all processed foods - allergenic enzymes and the majority of allergies can be directly traced back to processed foods. Processed food intoxication.

Civilization is responsible for the destruction of milk and the loss of its enzyme nutrition. Destruction of milk is caused by the heating process, addition of antibiotics and hormones to the diet feed to cows. Environment deficient in minerals and artificially prepared for extended periods of storage.

Eating In America: Most of us are aware of what we should eat. But in actuality, we eat foods that we crave. Which happens several times a day. We are bombarded with commercials for soft drinks, fries, burgers, sweets of all kinds, donuts and much more. As soon as we hear these commercials we can't help the desire to have them. These foods contain little or next to no enzyme nutrition. They contain no enzymes which means even when we do eat them there is no nutritional value in them. All the enzymes have been removed through the processing of these foods. The digestion process now becomes the burden of the enzymes in our own bodies. Foods are partially digested or not at all. These foods now become foreign, so processed with so many chemicals and preservatives. This processing of foods is relatively new to the humans. Our bodies are overstressed in its inability to metabolize them.

Natural and raw foods contain nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Processed food can be described as devitalized - not much in there we can use. The 'foods of commerce' are made to be sold, to last on the shelf a long time. This has nothing to do with human nutrition.

Garbage In: What does happen to all that undigested food? And where does it go? Well, it does go into your system, but never comes out. According to the FDA at age 35, on the average, a person harbors between 4 to 22 pounds of undigested food in their intestines alone.

As noted above, this rotting debris doesn't just stay in the intestine, but can make its way intact into the bloodstream, to be deposited in practically any location of the body. Such food is foreign and may cause inflammation in any area where it becomes lodged. - 17269
