Reasons Why You Are Not Losing Weight

By Ricardo d Argence

Everyday people are attempting to attain weight loss and instead they are failing. You know they are failing by the sheer number of new products that comes on to the market every day. Here we will examine just a few of the many reasons why diets might fail.

The most popular diets are ones that air at eliminating an entire group of foods from your diet. No, fat diets, diets with no carbs and some diets with no food at all! It's not a surprise why people cannot lose weight.

The human body needs nourishment from several sources in order to perform at it's peak. Eliminating a food group is not a healthy way to lose weight, chances are good that your body will actually rebel leaving you with no weight loss at all.

Losing little weight and getting hardly any nutrients, starvation diets are worse. That is because your body will go into what is known as starvation mode. If your body detects that you are no eating, then it automatically slows down your metabolism and increases it efforts to store body fat. This is to prevent you from dying under extreme circumstances. You potentially may be at risk for health problems even if you are able to surpass your body's initial objections.

A healthy balanced diet is imperative for effective weight loss. This means that you must partake of all the food groups. Portion control is the better approach, as it allows you to get the needed nutrients while reducing your caloric intake.

Fad diets claimed to be very effective by a lot of people in terms of losing weight with no need efforts to do exercise. The previous statement is obviously untrue, you must expend more than you consume. Exercise is required in order to do this and still consume proper amounts of nutrients. Exercise is considered to be anything that increases heart rate and oxygen intake. Our bodies were not made to be sedentary they need movement.

Aside from any kitchen sink, there are many useful and effective ways that are considered as the greatest aid of losing weight. Your body is composed of mostly water, about 61.8%. It is undeniable the water is very vital for proper body function. It is only the maintenance amount that the recommended daily allowance of water is eight 8-ounce glasses, but if you do any type of strenuous activity or perspire a lot you will need to take in more fluids.

All of the aforementioned components should be contained within any healthy weight loss program. The most effective weight loss plans include proper diet, regular exercise and adequate consumption of water. - 17269

Do you know these 5 reasons why you are skinny and not muscular?

By Caleb Lee

I've been working out since I was 5 years old through martial arts. Plus I started doing hard-core strength and conditioning routines since I was 12. Thus, keeping in shape wasn't really a problem.

On the other hand, I come across individuals who don't look the way they want, and each time they speak their mind, it's like hearing stories that is the same as before. That's why I am writing this post, if you are:

* A lean guy who has trouble building muscle mass...

* Obese and sense that you can't count the calories

* "skinny fat" where you have no brawniness, but you're just thin...

Therefore, I can verify that you are this way because of one of these 5 things:

First Reason: You Lack Specialized Knowledge

* You don't have any idea on how to build up strength.

* You don't have any idea on how to lose weight.

* You have no idea how to eat healthy

* You don't know how to cook, as a result, you barely eat fast food as well as food in a packaged form.

* You don't know which training program is the finest.

Knowledge is always the initial step. The primary thing you need to understand is how your body works, how good nutrition and exercise changes the animal - then you realize how to make it do what you want it to do. In your case: change your physique for the better-build muscle and lose fat.

That's why you're here. I will give you the know-how you need. Though it's up to you to use it. Knowledge is NOT power, only APPLIED knowledge is power.

Second Reason: You Are Lazy

* You know how to build muscle yet you don't want to get going.

* You know how to build strength, but you think it's "too much work".

* You know how to count the calories, but you create reasons in the same way as "I don't have the time!"

* You know how to eat clean, but it's easier to eat junk food and microwave box food

I'm a huge fan of being what I call idealistically lazy. In other words, I seek the very best methods (specialized knowledge) to gain the greatest results I want in the smallest time. For this reason, I get in, get it through, and quit. You must DESERVE the right to be lazy.

You can read every book on the planet about building muscle and losing weight, but if you never make a start on working out and eating healthy then you'll never achieve ANY results. You have to do something. Don't be afraid of failure, the most successful people realize that their whole life is one big mistake!

Third Reason: You Admit Yourself As "Skinny" or "Fat" or "Not Muscular"

* You think of yourself as "skinny, fat or not muscular" as an alternative as to what you want to be

* It doesn't bother you much that you're this way anymore

* If you truly cared enough, if it worried you enough, you'd change

* You're AT EASE with your look

Being weighty and unfit in this day and age is considered usual. It wasn't always like this. We used to be hunters and if you weren't in shape-you were dead-end of story. During the industrial age each and everyone survived on hard physical labor, everybody was in shape and on top form.

You were considered "sickly" if you were lean and not brawny or teased for being overweight. You shouldn't feel bad about yourself but don't just say "this is just the way I am". You can turn into whatever you want to become and achieve things you never thought you could achieve if you're sick to death of your current situation and want to change bad enough.

Fourth Reason: You Believe Gaining Muscle and Burning Fat is difficult

* You accept terms like "hardgainer" and apply them to you

* You don't get results in 2 weeks, so you quit

* You leaf through books and magazines that point out "battling the bulge" like it's hard

Building muscle isn't all that difficult. If you've always been lean, try to get strong. Your body HAVE TO adapt by building muscle to help you get stronger. It's the way your body works.

Losing fat isn't hard either. You eat clean and you stay active. Anyone who says they can't find 12 minutes a day 3x per week to lose fat is lying to themselves.

Fifth Reason: You Are Not Persevering Enough

* You haven't said "no matter matter what happens"

* You haven't told yourself "failure is not an option"

* You haven't made up your mind yet that "this is the year I get this sh*t handled!"

The truth is: You can build muscle, burn fat, and reshape your body using just about ANY exercise routine and nutritional program. That's the reason why there's so many of them out there. The key to success (ANY success) boils down to 2 things:

2. Make a decision that you're going to go for it and

2. Carry it out WHATEVER HAPPENS

I used to train with ways I wouldn't utilize at of the moment. They are not "proper" though it WORKED since I declined to take failure as an alternative. If you too develop the "do or die" attitude, you can pull off no matter what.

I will give you the know-how - or you can get the drift somewhere. I like to believe that I have the fastest, really intelligent, highly effective means to execute it - yet you can obtain the knowledge you need from any person. In addition, you don't need to be all that "positive" in your thinking. Simply make a decision and find a way to get it done. - 17269
