Omega Fatty Acids and Your Health

By Christian Goodman

I grew up in Iceland where we would drink the pure fat from fish liver. It's called lysi and it was awful. Today you can get it in pill form.

All I knew is that it was somehow beneficial to me and my health. As an adult, I developed an insatiable curiosity about natural health remedies. So, in addition to my other research, I decided to research the benefits of the fish fat.

Our bodies require certain vitamins and nutrients. Our bodies are not capable of creating many of them so we have to ingest them. Omega Fatty Acids is one of these essential polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Salmon, tuna, herring and some other fish can supply the fatty acids. However, fish can also contain toxins so we have to monitor the quantities we eat.

Flaxseed, walnuts, soybean or their oils also contain omega fatty acids. In fact, certain foods like margarine, baby formula and orange juice are now manufactured by adding the fatty acids into them.

Getting omega fatty acids through food is considered the best way to get it. You may however want to consult with your doctor or nutritionist to verify just how much you need.

For those whose diets do not provide an adequate amount of the omega fatty acids, supplements may be a good alternative.

Why is all of this really that important? Research proves that developing babies require this.

Studies have shown that omega fatty acids can reduce the progression of cardiovascular problems.

Rheumatoid arthritis, depression and anxiety disorders are problems that can be assisted with omega fatty acids.

While I always encourage a well balanced diet, if weight loss is your goal, I strongly recommend my Weight Loss Breeze Program.

Amazing Truths About Skin Moisturizer Supplements

By Michael Byrd

Revelations in skin moisturizer supplements will somehow amaze people.

Aging skin starting on the outside is a common fallacy in people's minds.

Having the right skin moisturizer supplements could give you the needed protection against harmful elements to your outdoor skin, even though it's working from the inside. You'll never have to rely on outer moisturizers again.

Skin problems like itchiness, dryness and prematurely-aging skin can be remedied by essential fatty acids like omega 3 supplements.

Being protected by an invisible shield that helps renew your skin daily, acting as a natural defense against harmful elements is an advantage when you maintain nutritious oils in your meals.

The skin is an essential organ in our body thus needing ample sustenance. Aside from having enough water intakes, important supplements are needed to maintain that well moisturized skin and youthful look.

A common mistake among people today is that we lack the needed amount of healthy fats or oil intake since most of the oils that we consume are bad. Most of which are harmful to our skin.

Just like adding insult to injury, these people spread lotions and moisturizers to their bodies. Instead of preserving the skin, they end up destroying it further more.

You'd be surprised. "What? Adding insult to injury?"

Correct. Mineral oil can be found in lotions and other skin products. Such substance drains certain minerals such as vitamins A, D and E from your body. Those essential vitamins are needed especially for your skin.

Eating foods rich with the lost vitamins A, D and E still would not replace enough vitamins lost from your body.

Take a case in point, 124 pieces of whole wheat bread a day would probably reach the daily allowance of vitamin E. But, would you be able to do that? That's almost 7,000 calories. And we're just talking about Vitamin E, what about the other vitamins?

Important oils like omega 3 fatty acids work on the deeper levels and help you achieve a healthier skin. Your body needs these certain kinds of oils every day and thus needs to be replenished.

Better looks, healthy, moisturized, acne and wrinkle free skin. Those are the positive changes that will occur in our skin brought about by nutritious oils.

So, in place of using drying and aging skin lotions, opt for skin moisturizer supplements everyday. You'll feel the immediate results earlier.

However, be aware of fake and fraud supplements. Examples would be: flaxseed, borage and primrose oils. These substances are harmful in some way and are not approved of by authorities.

It is established that certain essential oils from whole grains and the omega 3 fatty acids from oily fish are indeed important to the body.

Stay young and great by being healthy with the use of skin moisturizers supplements.

Even so, your skin and a smiling face is the important thing anyone sees. - 17269

Why You Should Consider Dinner Reservation

By Doug Schlette

Folks eat at restaurants. Some dine out almost every day, while for others it's a less frequent treat. Restaurant meals are common at lunch for white collar workers. Dinner out is common for some working families and in some industries where constant schmoozing happens. Often people can walk into an establishment and find a table. But at some times, and at some restaurants at all times, a dinner reservation is needed. Without a reservation a person won't eat there.

Particularly weekends and evenings, many restaurants accept reservations. Reservations are sometimes needed months in advance. Some are so special that even having a reservation is amazing. Can you imagine food so good that people would wait months to eat it? For some it's the thing to do.

When making a reservation only make it for the number of people you're sure will attend, and make it in advance of the planned night out. As mentioned, some restaurants are in high demand. Waiting too long can mean missing out on a chance to enjoy a meal there on a particular day. It might also mean a small table can be had, so fewer people can join you. Keep in mind that making reservations too far in advance can result in a lot of no shows and wasted space at the table. Restaurants don't like this. The result could be the restaurant not being willing to let you reserve next time.

Sometimes the customers do the wrong thing when it comes to reservations. However, sometimes it's the restaurant doing the wrong thing. Someone makes a reservation for 7:30PM but isn't given a table until 10PM. Restaurants that do this too often find themselves losing customers. It's expected at some fancier locations. Those restaurants are expected to be discourteous. Some people like to pay to be treated like bums.

There are now even companies that manage restaurant reservations. Many include online booking and get very good reviews. One customer related making reservations for her husband's birthday. Upon arrival she found the host looking up the reservation on a computer. To this patron's surprise the restaurant had done some planning for the birthday meal, providing extras and even a free slice of cake.

Make a dinner reservation to ensure a spot at the table. Hopefully the restaurant honors it. If not, express your displeasure. Stop giving them your money and tell your friends to do the same. - 17269
